I'm here via Atrios. Thanks for posting Rachel's report -- I'd missed it, and wow... she's the gutsiest truthteller on TV. Wish they were all like her.

Damn. I was kinda curious about those mandatory sex changes. Ah well, I'm a bit old for that kind of change anyway.

Nicest thing about this piece--and MEGA gracias for posting it--is that the bottom line is not just to expose the corporate interests behind the astroturfers here. Instead, she wraps it up by accusing the feckless media of failing to cover these events for what they are, and THAT'S the real issue. The astroturfers--"professionals" as she rightly calls them--absolutely rely on the media not to do their jobs with this stuff and to mistake the newsiness of these events for a genuine groundswell of anger.

Too bad it works so well. Not enough Rachel Madows is why. But kudos to her, anyway.

I'll bet that cranky old racist, Pat Buchanan, has his living will made out. Hopefully, the old codger has consulted with his doctor and family to draw up a DNR directive too.

It couldn't be much clearer that Buchanan is a white supremecist. He's proven again and again that he hates women, minorities, immigrants, and non-Christians. I guess that he's forgotten that his own ancesters were once considered "shanty Irish popists." How does this man live with himself off money made spewing racist, misogynist crap. Goodbye Grandpa indeed!

The website referred to (recessWhatever) has three email contacts at the bottom of the page; if those mailboxes were to get a lot of attention, would that do any harm?

This is a perfect example of why MSNBC has about 5 viewers.

Too bad Johnny Isakson said he took no part in the current legislation being debated in congress according to his own statement today.

In 2007, a consrv Republican Isakson wanted to create what Palin would call a govt-run death panel!
