Hey Cody, I, J, condone violence. Ya hear me? Ok. I guess you think if Republicans had the white house, a supermajority in the house and senate, and passed..let's say 100% privitazation of Social Security, or got rid of Medicare, whatever...and did it on 100% PARTISAN lines where 0 Democrats voted for it...the streets would be safe, huh?! The only bipartianship was AGAINST this billAnd before you say "Bush", let me say that pretty much EVERY major domestic program he signed into law and every major foreign policy decision was done with Democratic support...no child left behind, medicare prescription, dept of homeland security, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
J said... "Hey Cody, I, J, condone violence. Ya hear me? Ok."Yes. And justify or deny acts of genuine racism. I'm more than aware. That's how you think about civility in politics. No big surprises there.
"That's how you think about civility in politics."I condone any act of racism that is genuine, as well as death threats...on any side. You condone stuff that happens to Democrats.
Do you understand the definition of "condone"??It means you endorse, understand, justify, and stand behind.
blah, I type this stuff out when I'm dead tired at night. Some of us gotta work to pay off this debt.

Selective moral outrage--a hallmark of being on the left. You guys cry over death threats but don't speak out when it's being done to a Republican prez/congress. Cry over racism but say nothing when Rice/Powell are caricatured in cartoons as sambos. Perpetual victims of us evilll right wingers. Name ONE person from academia, the mainstream media (NY Times, ABC/CBS/NBC) or hollywood that EXPLICITLY spoke out against Bush death threats, ONE! You guys care about death threats, only when the target of said death threats is a leftist, period.
We on the left used the rhetoric of battle during the Bush administration. But we used it when people were actually being killed and tortured by our nation. There's a vast qualitative difference to saying you are going to fight against people who lied us into war and saying you are going to take down those who are trying to get health care to poor people.
